With students home for the summer, Leeds’ night life has been somewhat underwhelming. But…

September is coming.

The Facebook invites have been rolling in, and wonky posters have sprouted up all over Hyde Park. From tropical house to jungle, disco to drum and bass, there’s a night for everyone desperate to escape the clutches of Fruity.

I’m keen for Alter.

Founded in 2015, Alter hosts renowned Berghain residents to an intimate crowd of techno lovers and serious party-goers. After a successful year at Mint Club, Alter returns to the dark basement of Wire. The new season opens with Marcel Fengler, known for his deep minimal techno, with support from respected resident Animist. It’s set to be a good one.

Check out their Facebook page to keep up with events.

"RD are available 24/7 and their enthusiasm is invaluable. They don't make mistakes and they take the initiative to think of ideas in quiet periods. Communication is quick and efficient. You really get what you pay for. Most importantly, they are proper music fans."
