It’s that time of year again, festival season! Usually I would be counting down the days to Glastonbury but I’ve decided to take my own fallow year from the festival (probably required after attending 6 years on the run) and obviously needed a replacement to fill the void. So the big festival I’m going to this year is Wireless and it’s exactly a month away!
Having previously worked on Reading and Leeds Festival and Creamfields, there’s nothing better than attending the event you have been working on for months and seeing everyone have a ball so I’m really looking forward to seeing how Wireless goes down.
Our very own Calvin and Kygo are headliners on the bill plus there’s lots of American acts on the line up that hardly ever tour the UK such as J Cole, Future, Young Thug and Vic Mensa.
Having seen Boy Better Know in the dance arena at Reading, I know they are gonna smash it as headliners on the Main Stage on Sunday. Chase and Status are back with their live show to headline on Saturday which will no doubt boot off!
The rest of the line up is a mixed bag from electronic to grime to hip hop and beyond so it has something for everyone this year. I’ve got to admit though, I think I’m most excited to finally see the comeback king of 2016… Craig David.
